Event Details

Event: In collaboration with the National Women’s History Project’s (NWHP) 2014 theme “Celebrating Women of Character, Courage and Commitment.” the Black Business Association BBA) will present our annual Salute to Black Women Business Conference , Vendor Faire & Awards Luncheon.

Purpose: Our Business Conference is designed to assist African American women in navigating this current economic environment by offering workshops focusing on business & personal financial security, improvement, and empowerment. Our Vendor Fair gives local businesses the opportunity to build their customer base, gain possible procurement opportunities and network with others. Our Awards Luncheon will honor both national & local prominent women whose strength of character, dedication and sense of purpose are creating our history. These women have continued the struggle for women’s equality by leading our nation in advancements ranging from achieving great success in the business world, breaking the glass ceiling in corporate America to vast contributions in science, the arts, medicine, education and politics.

Proceeds received from our event will support the BBA’s Student Scholarship Program.
