Description: Creating BlackNLA pages on online social networking sites (myspace/facebook/etc.), and managing those online social networking sites. Researching websites, blogs, and community groups for Peer-to-Peer Marketing Campaigns. Managing online marketing initiatives including contests, promotions, and viral campaigns in relation to the social networking sites, Increasing awareness about BlackNLA utilizing social networks. Posting in forums, social network s and other sites.

Qualifications: Strong drive, self motivated and an excellent work ethic. Great computer skills and a passion for all things internet! Experience on popular websites, such as Facebook, YouTube, Flickr, MySpace and Digg; and/or with mobile applications, such as SMS, mobile web and media, etc. Skilled in online search. Marketing Intern will assist in the development, coordination and execution of marketing programs and events to promote IMAX movies, and provide project support to marketing staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support Marketing staff through a variety of projects including brainstorming and researching marketing and promotional opportunities, concepts, and merchandise
- Contribute to concept and development of marketing materials
- Assist staff with development and execution of contests, promotions and events
- Attend staff meetings; may attend screenings and other promotional events
- Assist Marketing staff with general administrative duties
Requirements: oStrong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter, well-organized, able to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Creative and innovative with interest in marketing and entertainment
- Flexible, agreeable, and a team player
- Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet savvy
- Minimum of two days per week for at least 8 weeks
- Start/end dates, days and hours are flexible
