I wanted to be a doctor since I was a little child. I played a doctor while my sisters played with dolls. For most of my life, I lived in Southern California. I attended UCLA for college and medical school, and then I attended Cornell New York Hospital for my anesthesiology residency. The rigorous program at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center included every type of surgical procedure: cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, neonatal surgery, pediatric cardiac surgery, surgery for burn patients, and more.

About my practice
I’ve found Kaiser Permanente to be a good place to practice medicine. There is freedom to focus on one’s medical practice. I believe in teamwork. I strive to provide high-quality care for my patients and enhance their quality of life.

I am an eclectic therapist, meaning I do not subscribe to any one therapeutic modality as I believe the therapeutic process is fluid and as a clinician, I must be the same. I help you manage depression, anxiety, ADHD, adjustment disorder, grief/loss, PTSD, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, children and adolescents navigating the difficulties of adjusting to parent's divorcing and behavioral issues such as oppositional defiance and conduct issues. In an effort to meet my clients where they are, I will take the time needed to examine, with you, the core issues surrounding the problem and assist in developing solutions from that ground work.
