SEPT 29th | Arroz Con Pollo with Great Jones and Alex Hill

Learn how to cook arroz con pollo with food blogger and educator Alex Hill (@Justaddhotsauce_).

Join us on Zoom and learn how to master Alex Hill‘s signature dish — arroz con pollo.

Ingredients needed:

  • ½ lb chicken thighs, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1 cup sofrito, roughly (recipe below)
  • 1 cup white rice, uncooked
  • 1-2 tablespoon sazon (Organic Eat Loisa Brand is great)
  • 1-2 tablespoon adobo seasoning (optional)
  • 1-2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1-2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Puerto Rican Sofrito (makes one cup)
  • ½ red pepper
  • ½ green pepper
  • ½ Spanish onion
  • 2-3 cloves garlic
  • ½ cubanelle pepper (Italian green pepper)
  • 1 bunch cilantro
