Nov 27th – You Had Me at Black: The Kickback

AN IMMERSIVE VIRTUAL STORYTELLING & MUSICAL EXPERIENCE

Friday, Nov 27th @ 6:30 – 8:30 PM – CLICK HERE to register

2020 has been a whirlwind of a year and most of us haven’t had the time to catch our breath. As we navigate connecting across long distances and come to terms with not being able to meet up in person for the foreseeable future, You Had Me at Black is excited to announce The Kickback, our first live offering for virtually connecting through storytelling, taking place on Friday, November 27 (Black Friday) at 9:30pm ET/ 6:30 pm PT.

The Kickback is an immersive, interactive virtual experience that promises to provide an opportunity to relax, unwind, and drift away.

The 2-hour audio-only broadcast will feature 4 storytellers, with DC is Chillin, from the Bay Area’s 106.1 KMEL as our emcee, and pastelShade curating the musical vibe.

Black memory is a living, breathing thing. Connect with us to celebrate the tradition of bringing culture to life through powerful words, captivating tales and groovy beats.

We created a Vibe Kit – a specially curated set of goodies from Black-owned businesses and creatives – @unpluggedessentials @illuminatebcandles and @totalpeacewellnes – that you can purchase ahead of time to set the mood for the evening.

It’s been a while since we really kicked it. We might be inside but we’ll be having a good time together.
