Oct. 20th – BGV Pitch Tour Los Angeles

BGV Pitch Tour – Black or Brown Women-identifying founders in 7 cities pitching to win up to $30k to an audience that picks the winner.

LA the BGV Pitch tour is headed to you on October 20th in partnership with PIMCO & Omaze and the aid of our amazing 12 Change Agents where we will be having a BGV Pitch Competition. Our BGV Change Agents are amazing Black and/or Brown women-identifying founders who are actively working to uplift and grow the city’s ecosystem for Black and Brown founders in their area.

A BGV Pitch Competition is like ‘Shark Tank’ mixed with the elements of a classic “Rent Party”. At a BGV pitch program, the audience decides the winner through Raisify.co, our voting platform, with their dollars. The winner is determined by the number of votes, not the dollar amount raised. The money raised goes to the founders, despite where they place.

The prizes for the pitch competitors are:

1st place: $10k

2nd place: $6k

3rd place: $2k

As well as other non-monetary prizes to enhance their business.

Come out, hang with the BGV team leads and Change Agents. Network with other founders, investors, customers, and watch these amazing 7 women pitch, vote with your dollars, and learn new businesses to shop. Light refreshments and drinks will be served. You do not want to miss this super dope event.

BGVs mission is to create access to capital, capacity and community. This means we want to see ALL Black and Brown women-identifying founders win. We want to help these founders in the communities we serve, scale and grow their businesses, gain the capacity to hire those in your community, and social capital to meet those who will help you grow in partnerships, accessibility and your industry.
