Join us for an exciting one-day Python Workshop designed for boys aged 8-14! Whether they are brand new to coding or eager to explore programming, this hands-on session introduces young learners to Python, one of the most popular and versatile coding languages. Participants will design and build their very own calculator, gaining practical coding experience while discovering the creativity and logic behind programming.

Materials Required

  • Computers with Internet Access
  • Online Python Editor (Trinket): A user-friendly, web-based platform for writing, running, and debugging Python code.

Beginner Path

  • Introduction to Python: Learn why Python is used in industries like AI and web development.
  • Basic Programming Concepts: Understand variables, data types, functions, and mathematical operations.
  • Hands-on Coding: Follow guided steps to write Python code for a functional calculator.
  • Debugging and Testing: Develop problem-solving skills by identifying and fixing errors in the code.
  • Final Project: Complete and test a working calculator that can perform basic arithmetic operations.
