ROOTED is hosting its launch event Saturday, August 9th in Silver Lake, which is the first of many sacred spaces, workshop series, co-working events, and community activations! But this launch event in particular is a Black PARTAY!
ROOTED is what happens when all the cousins take a “walk” at the family function. This was our destination all along! 🤎 High vibes, healing, and hella melanin! ✨
🎶DJ & live performances by Shariya Wise, Brandy Haze, and Chala Shirae. 🛍️ Vendor marketplace with everything from readings and crystals to aura photos and permanent jewelry. 🌿Raw vegan cuisine by Chef Ifeanyi (yes, uncooked cuisine that tastes AMAZING!), ROOTED Wellness Bar curated in collaboration with Wema Wellness, aura health assessments, past-life regressions, human design readings, and so much more!
Join us for a night of spirituality, wellness, good music, and even better vibes. Come as you are and leave ROOTED. 🌿
What is ROOTED and its mission?
ROOTED is a Black cultural movement with a twofold mission: 1. To seed Black joy + wellness through spiritual events, education, and community connection. 2. To provide support, education, new experiences, and holistic resources to Black foster youth ages 12-21. We’re proud to host a donation drive at ROOTED in support of Move-In Day Mafia, a Black woman-owned nonprofit that decorates dorm rooms for Black foster youth attending HBCUs! 100% of donations go directly to the organization, helping these young scholars feel seen, supported, and at home on day one.
