Are you looking for a chill way to spend your Sunday? Join Black Girl Rising LA for an open craft session. We will be doing zine-making, collaging, coloring and more. We will provide supplies, and you are welcome to bring your own.
Black Girl Rising LA is a space that focuses on using Black feminist practice to support arts, archiving, and wellness. We will be doing creative activities that focus on wellness and joy. We will begin at 11, craft for about an hour, and then share our work in community.’
We will have three sessions — Sunday October 5th, Sunday November 2nd, and Sunday November 30th. Each require a separate RSVP.
This event is donation-based, with a suggested donation of $10. Donations contribute to the supply fund as well as the facilitator’s labor.
