This Black News App Changes Black Perception in the Media – Empowr

(Black PR Wire) Adrian Le’Roy Devezin, Executive Director of Empowr, is pleased to announce the release of Empowr News. Empowr News is a news app built by black engineers for a black nonprofit, featuring only black news publishers.

To control our perception in the media, we as a people must support black publishers. While there are few similar news apps out there, none make it simple to support only black-owned publishers. Until we can own media, we cannot control our perception by the media. Empowr News is convenient to catch up on the latest news while supporting only black-owned publishers.

With Empowr News, you can catch up on the latest news affecting the black community and check out videos from YouTube’s black kings and queens in a beautiful and simple design. Empowr News will be adding even more exciting new features in the coming months.

Empowr is a black-owned nonprofit dedicated to democratizing the education system for black children. We accomplish this by teaching career STEM skills to our youth. As part of our plan, we develop technology to aid the black community.
