Michael Twitty Presents: A Koshersoul Pop Up

Join James Beard and National Jewish Book Award winning chef, author, and living historian Michael Twitty for a one-of-a-kind dinner experience featuring Black/Jewish fusion recipes from Twitty’s books The Cooking Gene and Koshersoul prepared by Twitty himself. Both of Michael’s books along with his signature Spice Tribe blends will avalible for sale.

First Service, 5:30pm-7:30pm: Koshersoul Shabbat. It will lean into the Jewish side of Twitty’s intersectional identity, featuring recipes including West African Braised Brisket, Matzo Ball Gumbo, and Peach Rice Kugel.

Second Service, 8:30-10:30pm: The Koshersoul Cookout. It will lean into the southern Black side of Twitty’s intersectional identity, featuring recipes including BBQ Brisket, BBQ Chicken, Lamb Bacon Baked Beans, Collard Green Lox Wraps, and more.
