The Black Hollywood Education and Resource Center (BHERC) is proud to announce its 30th Annual S. E. Manly African American Short Film Festival (formerly Annual African American Film Marketplace and S.E. Manly Short Film Showcase). Since its inception in 1994, this showcase has been a platform for rising and established filmmakers from emerging voices, while exploring innovations in storytelling across film, television, online, and more.

The Festival presents a combination of documentaries and short films, features multiple filmmakers. The community-at-large is invited annually to celebrate the artistry of filmmakers whose projects cover diverse topics, stories, techniques and broad themes multi-layered with humor, drama, and reality.
